<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which, when performing color conversion, suitably reproduces an object that should be expressed in black. <P>SOLUTION: A method for creating a corrected profile by correcting a reference profile in which second type color values in a second color space are associated with the respective representative values of first type color values in a first color space includes processes of (a) acquiring image data which is expressed by the first type color values and includes an object that should be expressed in black, (b) acquiring a distribution state, in the first color space, of the first type color values of plural constituent pixels constituting the object, (c) determining a correction target representative value from among the representative values using the distribution state, and (d) correcting a second type color value associated with the correction target representative value to be close to black. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
