The present invention relates to a wireless communication method, a user equipment, a network device, and a system. The method includes: a first user equipment sending a dedicated discovery signal; the first user equipment receiving a response message, wherein the response message is sent by a second user equipment which has detected the dedicated discovery signal; the first user equipment establishing a device-to-device connection with the second user equipment; and the first user equipment communicating with a network side through the device-to-device connection and a communication link between the second user equipment and the network side.
