Provided are a cellulose ester film maintaining linearity even forming a coating layer; a pattern retardation film maintaining linearity even using a support having low membrane thickness; a liquid crystal display device for displaying a three-dimensional image not causing cross talk, and having the pattern retardation film; and a method for manufacturing a cellulose ester film. Provided are a cellulose ester film having the measured creep amount less than 0.0024 %/MPa, when coating cyclohexanone, a retardiation film comprising the cellulose ester film, a liquid crystal display device, and a method for manufacturing a cellulose ester film.
