APPARATUS AND SERVICE METHOD FOR PROVIDING MANY LANGUAGES OF DIGITAL BROADCASTING USING REAL TIME TRANSLATION

Provided are a multi-language caption providing service apparatus of a digital broadcasting, which analyzes a caption while streaming a selected digital broadcasting program when a user selects the digital broadcasting program and a language that the user wants, and translates the analyzed caption in the language that the user wants to synchronize the same with the selected digital broadcasting program to be provided, and a method thereof. The multi-language caption providing service apparatus of the digital broadcasting through a real-time translation comprises: a caption extraction unit for extracting a caption from streamed digital broadcasting data by a request of a user terminal to decode the same; a caption analysis unit for analyzing caption data extracted from the caption extraction unit by a morpheme unit and reconstructing the same in one sentence format in which translation is requested; a translation request unit for requesting the translation of the caption data reconstructed in the caption analysis unit to a predetermined translation service apparatus; a translation result collecting unit for receiving and collecting the caption data translated by the translation request; and a translation caption transmitting unit for receiving a language to be translated from the user terminal and synchronizing the translated caption data collected through the translation result collecting unit with digital broadcasting data to transmit the same.
