The present invention provides a battery module. The battery module of the present invention comprises: a battery cell assembly in which two or more battery cells are arranged by sides to be adhered or adjacent to each other; a front surface plate and a rear surface plate which are fixated to individually surround the outermost battery cells of the battery cell assembly; an electrically insulative cover member which is installed to an upper end of the battery cell assembly, and in which through holes, where electrode terminals of the battery cells are penetrated, are formed; conductive connection units which are arranged while being mounted to the cover member, and individually connected to the electrode terminals of the battery cells to perform electrical connection and voltage detection of the battery cells; cooling members which are interposed between the battery cells, and in which a hollow refrigerant flowing unit, where the refrigerant is flowed inside, is formed; and manifolds connected to the cooling members to flow the refrigerant of the refrigerant flowing unit.
