The present invention relates to an image processing method of an electronic device, and an electronic device using the same. According to one of various embodiments of the present invention, the image processing method comprises the following steps: sequentially receiving a frame photographed by a camera; determining whether the frame satisfies a certain condition or not; recognizing an object of the frame when the condition is determined to be satisfied; extracting features of the object and generating data for tracking to track the object in the frame. According to one of various embodiments of the present invention, the electronic device comprises: a sensor unit for measuring a motion of an object; an input unit including a camera which photographs the object to receive the frame; a memory for storing data on the motion of the object; a display module for displaying a state of the object; and a processor for controlling a wireless communications unit for communications between the electronic device and a server. The processor is controlled to perform the following steps: sequentially receiving a frame photographed by a camera; determining whether the frame satisfies a certain condition or not; recognizing an object of the frame when the condition is determined to be satisfied; extracting features of the object and generating data for tracking to track the object in the frame.
