A liquid feeder is provided with which it is possible to accurately meter a desired liquid. This liquid feeder is characterized by including: a branching part that makes a fluid to flow through either a main channel, which sends the liquid from the upstream side to the downstream side, or a first channel which branches off from the main channel; a narrow channel disposed at the end of the first channel on the side opposite from the branching part and having a smaller cross-sectional area than the first channel; and a liquid-sending mechanism for sending the liquid through the main channel and the first channel. The liquid feeder is further characterized in that the narrow channel inhibits the liquid sent into the first channel from the main channel side via the branching part by the liquid-sending mechanism from leaking out of the first channel and enables the first channel, which has a first volume, to be filled with the liquid, thereby making the liquid have the first volume, and that the quantified liquid is sent to the main channel. |
