摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a light emitting device, which can improve the yield of color tones without changing a shape of a sealing member, and to provide the light emitting device. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a light emitting device 1 having a light emitting element 10 and a sealing resin 50 which covers the light emitting element 10 and contains phosphors 70 includes a step of forming a dark-color part 71 by discoloring the sealing resin 50 around a part of the phosphors 70 among a plurality of the phosphors 70. For instance, when the phosphors are excited, the sealing resin 50 around the phosphors 70 can be discolored. Furthermore, for instance, the phosphors 70 can be excited by irradiating the inner part of the sealing resin 50 with a laser beam. A wavelength conversion function of the part of the phosphors 70 can be suppressed by forming the dark-color part 71 around the part of the phosphors 70 among the plurality of the phosphors 70. Thereby, a chromaticity value of the light emitting device 1 shifts toward a chromaticity value side of light emitted by the light emitting element 10, and accordingly the color tone is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
