<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently control humidity in a room while suppressing an energy consumption amount in a humidity controller. <P>SOLUTION: A humidity controller (10) includes two humidity control parts (40a, 40b) in which moisture is transferred between air and a liquid absorbent, an absorbent circuit (30) which has a circulation pump (31), and which allows the liquid absorbent to circulate between both moisture control parts (40a, 40b) so that one (40a, 40b) of the two humidity control parts releases humidity to air and the other (40a, 40b) absorbs humidity from air, and a refrigerant circuit (35) to which a compressor (36), a heat releasing part (46a, 46b), and an evaporation part (46a, 46b) are connected to perform refrigeration cycle, and switches and performs normal operation for operating the compressor (36) and the circulation pump (31) and compressor stop operation for operating the circulation pump (31) while the compressor (36) is stopped.
