<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanning type endoscope capable of suppressing the irregularity in the brightness of an image obtained by scanning an object.SOLUTION: A scanning type endoscope comprises: an illuminating fiber 12 constituted for transmitting and emanating illumination light for illuminating an object from an end portion; an actuator unit 15 capable of rocking the end portion of the illuminating fiber 12 in such a manner as to draw a locus according to a predetermined scanning pattern; and a light emission portion interposed between the end portion of the illuminating fiber 12 and the object for shielding or dipping at least the illumination light emanating from the illuminating fiber 12 rocked at the peripheral edge portion of the predetermined scanning pattern and emanating the illumination light to the object.</p> |
