摘要 The present invention relates to a bottom-mounted second shutdown drive mechanism in a reactor using a reactor coolant pump (RCP). More particularly, the usability of an upper space is improved by forming a second shutdown drive mechanism in the lower part of a reactor instead of a second shutdown drive mechanism which is formed in the upper part of an existing reactor structure. The second shutdown drive mechanism is automatically driven according to the driving of the RCP without a control device for driving the second shutdown drive mechanism by receiving an existing separate shutdown signal. Thereby, the second shutdown drive mechanism stops the output of a reactor core.
