摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amplifier and an amplification method that enable compact integration by dispensing with distributed constant circuits using transmission lines.SOLUTION: The amplifier for supplying an antenna having two feeding points consisting of first and second feeding points with amplified signals to the first and second feeding points includes: a power divider for dividing a signal including a fundamental wave to first and second signals of the same amplitude; a first amplifier for amplifying the first signal to output a first amplified signal to the first feeding point; a second amplifier for amplifying the second signal to output a second amplified signal to the second feeding point; a first phase shifter interposed between the first amplifier and the first feeding point; a second phase shifter interposed between the second amplifier and the second feeding point and having the same electrical length as the first phase shifter; and a third phase shifter interposed between the power divider and the first feeding point and having an electrical length of half a wavelengthλof the fundamental wave. The first and second phase shifters shift phases of the first and second amplified signals, respectively, such that nodes of voltage standing waves of second-order harmonic components of the first and second amplified signals are output terminals of the first and second amplifiers.</p>
