<p>Embodiments of the invention provide a dip tube assembly for extracting liquid from a container. The dip tube assembly comprises a dip tube (2) and a flexible fluted foot (4) of resilient material connected to a lower open end of the dip tube (2) and extending to a distal end of the flexible fluted foot (4). The flexible fluted foot (4) has a series of adjacent and outwardly tapering ridges (16) and grooves (18). When the distal end of the flexible fluted foot (4) is pushed against a surface (11), such as a container base, the distal end is splayed outwards, the grooves (18) contacting the surface and the ridges (16) being raised above the surface (11) to provide openings through which the liquid can flow into the dip tube (2).</p> |
