Two-part couplings.-The terminals of the two members of a battery consist of a press - button fastener, the carbon electrode being provided with a metal cap b the upper end of which is formed as a button c having a cross-cut c<2> and a reduced portion c<1>. - The zinc electrode is provided with a lug d having a perforation d<2> which engages over the button on an adjacent cell. The parts of the connector may be made of brass coated with lead, cadmium &c. to prevent corrosion. |
