According to various embodiments of the present invention, an electronic device which executes an application comprises: a display module which displays icons corresponding to each of a plurality of applications on a screen; a user input receiving module which receives a user input of any one among the displayed icons; and a processor which selects one or more applications related to the application corresponding to the user input. The display module can display the application corresponding to the user input and the related application on the screen in a widget form.
