Disclosed is an apparatus for igniting an exhausted coke oven gas. According to an aspect of the present invention, provided is an apparatus for igniting an exhausted coke oven gas comprising a protection pipe supported on a bleeder exhausting a coke oven gas (COG) outside, and having the end located on an outlet; a protection cover hinged to the end of the protection pipe to open and close the protection pipe; a movable rod inserted into the protection pipe to be moved; an ignition unit installed on the end of the movable rod, and generating spark for igniting the exhausted coke oven gas; and a driving unit moving the movable rod in the longitudinal direction in the protection pipe for the ignition unit to be exposed outside the protection pipe while opening the protection cover.
