Disclosed are a method, a system, and a recording medium for providing a dictionary function, and a file distribution system. The method for providing a dictionary function may comprises: a step of executing a dictionary mode including a first region configured to receive a search term and a second region configured to expose a dictionary search result relevant to the search term; and a step of automatically switching from the dictionary mode to a translation mode if inputting the search term in the first region is extended to a critical level, wherein, in the step of automatically switching to the translation mode, the translation mode may include a third region configured to receive the extended search term as the original to be translated. |
