The present invention relates to a method for operating an application for a mobile terminal to provide parking information and the mobile terminal comprising the application, which can improve convenience of a parking lot user by accessing parking lot information easily which is managed integrally in an operation server using the application installed in the mobile terminal. In the method for operating the parking information application installed in the mobile terminal connected to the operation server through communication, where the parking lot information related with a plurality of previously designated parking lots is stored, the method for operating the application for the mobile terminal to provide the parking information according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a first step in which an execution command of the parking information application is inputted; a second step in which an execution window related with the parking information application is displayed on a display part in response to the inputted execution command; a third step in which the execution window induces vehicle information input of the user; a fourth step in which the vehicle information of the user is inputted; a fifth step in which an identification number given to the mobile terminal is registered in the operation server; a sixth step in which the parking lot information as to the parking lots is transmitted from the operation server; and a seventh step in which the parking lot information as to the parking lots is provided to the mobile terminal in order for the user to be able to check the transmitted parking lot information as to the parking lots. A plurality of parking planes is partitioned for parking of the vehicle at each parking lot. |
