PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device that efficiently distributes image information in an environment where a plurality of image display devices is connected to a line capable of transmitting image information, in particular, in a railway vehicle.SOLUTION: One of a plurality of image display devices 1 connected by a network 114 is configured to read information recorded in a portable type recording medium to be inserted; distribute image information accumulated in the portable type recording medium to other image display device 1 via broadcasting on the basis of display/distribution information as a master when update information is included in the read information; receive the image information as a slave when the update information is not included therein, and record the image information in an own portable type recording medium; distribute the image information accumulated in the own portable type recording medium as the master via the broadcasting when synchronization of the image information is established in comparison of the image information to be distributed from the master with the image information owned by the slave; and display the image information recorded in the portable type recording medium. |
