MOTION CAPABILITY MEASURING CHAIR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair capable of automatically measuring time required for each motion of a measured person in measurement of 3 m of TUG (time up and go).SOLUTION: A contact detection sensor for detecting a contact state between a chair 10 and a measured person detects standing motion start of the measured person and seating thereof. The contact detection sensor includes a backrest contact detection sensor that detects a contact state between a backrest 14 and the measured person, or a seat contact detection sensor that detects a contact state between a seat 12 and the measured person. A human body detection sensor 60 for detecting distance from a rear end part of the chair 10 to the measured person detects standing of the measured person and seating motion start thereof. Timing means measures time required for each motion of the measured person on the basis of output signals of the contact detection sensor and the human body detection sensor 60.
