PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce, in a voltage regulator connected in series to a system, the output of an AC-DC converter provided in the voltage regulator.SOLUTION: The voltage regulator includes: a second series transformer 21 whose primary side is connected in series to the secondary side of a first series transformer 13, whose primary side is connected in series to the system, and to the secondary side of a parallel transformer 14 whose primary side is connected in parallel to the system; and a first AC-DC converter 22 whose AC side is connected to the secondary side of the second series transformer 21. The first AC-DC converter 22 includes: a switching element 22c, an anti-parallel diode 22d, and a capacitor 22e which are connected between an AC terminal 22a and a DC terminal 22b. |
