CASTING MOLD SHELL FOR RESIN MOLDING, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting mold shell for resin molding with a heating medium piping disposed at a constant distance from a casting design transfer surface, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a casting mold shell for resin molding includes the steps of: forming a primary model 2 having a design transfer surface 3 reproducing the design surface of a mother die on one side and a heating medium piping mold 4 disposed on the opposite side of the design transfer surface 3 from a heat-fusible material; covering the circumference of the primary model 2 with casting sand 9 to be solidified to configure a sand mold 8; melting the primary model 2 in the sand mold 8 for removal and filling the formed cavity with a molten metal to form a secondary model 10; removing the sand mold 9 so as to take out the secondary model 10; and forming a backup layer 14 on the opposite side of the casting design transfer surface 11 of the secondary model 10. Consequently the distance between a casting design transfer surface 11 and a heating medium piping 12 is kept at constant.
