PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a screen image with a resolution reduction suppressed more than conventional systems.SOLUTION: A projector 1 for projecting on a screen a target image being a target of output comprises: a projection image processor 106 which generates a corrected image by correcting the target image so as to be displayed in a rectangular shape on the screen; a projection unit 12 which selectively projects the target image and the corrected image on the screen; and a first imaging unit 13 which acquires an imaged image by imaging the screen when the target image is displayed on the screen.
