PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform component recognition efficiently, even in a case where an in-line type and rotary type head units are used selectively, with a simple and reasonable configuration.SOLUTION: A component mounting device M includes a head unit 5 for holding a component from a component supply section 4 and mounting on a substrate P, and a component recognition unit 6 for imaging the component held by the head unit 5 before being mounted on the substrate P. The component recognition unit 6 includes a line sensor camera 22, a support member for supporting the line sensor camera 22 rotatably about a vertical axis, and a fixing device for fixing the line sensor camera 22 at a first rotational position and a second rotational position around the vertical axis different from each other. |
