PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance uniformity of flex density between magnetic poles.SOLUTION: A superconducting electromagnet 1 includes: a pair of annular main coils 2, 2; a pair of magnetic poles 3, 3 arranged on the inner peripheral side of the main coil 2, and having opposite faces 3a, 3a, i.e., planes facing while spaced apart in an axial direction C3 of the main coil 2; and a pair of correction coils 4, 4 arranged between the pair of magnetic poles 3, 3. With such an arrangement, the density of magnetic flux generated by the main coil 2 is corrected by the magnetic flux generated by th correction coil 4, and the uniformity of magnetic flux in a beam duct 14 within a deflection electromagnet 20 can be enhanced. |
