PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer housing body capable of preventing a developer from leaking without damaging or peeling an elastic member when a shutter is inserted.SOLUTION: A developer housing body comprises: a first opening for discharging a developer; a developer housing vessel 70 having a second circular opening on a surface orthogonal to the first opening; ; and a shutter that has a discharge port for discharging the developer on the outer peripheral surface having an approximately cylindrical shape and is slidably supported in the second opening and discharges the developer by communicating the first opening with the discharge port. The shutter has an elastic member 91 contacted with the inner wall surface of the second opening to seal the developer, on the outer peripheral surface at a position supported by the second opening. The outer periphery of the elastic member is larger on the outer side than on the inner side in a direction inserted to the developer housing vessel. |
