PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas detection device which is easy to install.SOLUTION: The gas detection device comprises: a CPU 300 provided with an inspection light source 1 for emitting inspection light, a detector 2 for receiving the inspection light, and a concentration calculation unit for calculating, on the basis of light intensity in the infrared region of the inspection light received by the detector 2, the concentration of a type of gas to be measured in a space through which the inspection light has passed; a transmitter 20 for transmitting the calculated concentration of the type of gas to be measured; and fasteners 30A, 30B, 30C, 30D composed of a conductive member that can be inserted into the socket of a lighting fixture. The CPU 300 provided with the inspection light source 1, the detector 2, and the concentration calculation unit is supplied with power from the lighting fixture via the fasteners 30A, 30B, 30C, 30D composed of the conductive member. |
