PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image detection device capable of properly detecting a detection object and a program.SOLUTION: The image detection device is an image detection device (1) including image acquisition means (7) for acquiring an image, extraction image creation means (3) for extracting a pixel corresponding to a color model (Mij) from the image and creating an extraction image (Pij), edge extraction means (3) for extracting an edge on the basis of the edge information of each pixel, in the extraction image, and detection means (3) for comparing the edge in the extraction image with the template of the detection object and detecting the detection object (Di). The extraction image creation means creates a plurality of extraction images for each of a plurality of color models corresponding to the same detection object. The edge extraction means extracts the edge for each of the plurality of extraction images.
