PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple-rotation encoder that accurately corrects multi-rotation data even when the difference between the reference point of an angle detector and that of a multi-rotation detector is 90° or more, and align the reference points with each other.SOLUTION: An angle detector 100 detects a position within one rotation of a rotor. A multi-rotation detector 200 detects, as multi-rotation data, the rotation speed of the rotor using a three-phase signal having a phase difference of 60° generated in accordance with the rotation of the rotor. Multi-rotation data correcting means 5 corrects the multi-rotation data, on the basis of the three-phase signal having a phase difference of 60° and data on the position in one rotation. Data outputting means 6 outputs the data on the position in one rotation generated by the angle detector 100 and the corrected multi-rotation data. |
