PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for a transparent candle capable of molding a transparent candle hard to be burnt at the time of melting and combustion and having self-standing properties or softening properties in accordance with the content of a specified hydrogenation styrenic plastic elastomer, and a method for producing the transparent candle.SOLUTION: Provided is a composition for a transparent candle comprising mineral oil having a flash point of 230°C or higher and the hydrogenation matter of a styrene-isoprene-butadiene block copolymer, and in which the content of the hydrogenation matter of the styrene-isoprene-butadiene block copolymer is above 3 mass% to below 22 mass%. |
