PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw cap easily handled after the cap is removed from a container mouth part since the cap removed from the container mouth part by opening is held by a hand as it is without any difficulty, in the screw cap which is separated in opening the cap and is equipped with a tamper evidence band.SOLUTION: A screw cap comprises a cap body 1 which is fixed to a container mouth part by screwing for engaging and a tamper evidence band 2 which is provided on a lower end of a skirt part 6 of the cap body 1 and has a cylindrical shape. The band 2 has separating surfaces 30a, 30b extending in a vertical direction, and the separating surfaces 30a, 30b are connected by bridges 31a, 31b that are broken in the opening of the cap. One of the separating surfaces 30a, 30b has a bending part 40 recessed in using a line Z in a cap axial direction as a reference, and the bridges 30a, 30b are provided in such a manner that a broken butt 43 remains in the bending part 40. |
