PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal barrier coating material for a steam turbine, which is usable under high-temperature steam, and excellent in economical efficiency.SOLUTION: A thermal barrier coating material for a steam turbine in an embodiment has a metal intermediate layer, a first layer and a second layer in this order on a metal substrate. The first layer and the second layer contain zirconium oxide respectively. The average pore rate of the second layer is lower than the average pore rate of the first layer. Further, the mass ratio of a stabilizer contained in the second layer is higher than the mass ratio of the stabilizer contained in the first layer. |
