PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of manufacture while suppressing looseness of a rubber stopper and a terminal metal fitting in a cavity.SOLUTION: Provided is a female connector 10 that comprises a rubber stopper 30 fixed to a terminal of an electric wire W together with a female terminal 20 and fitted with an enlarged-diameter cavity 45 with insertion of the female terminal 20 into a cavity 44 of a female housing 40 from the back. The rubber stopper 30 has: a rubber stopper main body 31 externally fitted with the electric wire W; an outer peripheral lip 34 circumferentially provided on an outer peripheral surface of the rubber stopper main body 31, and tightly adhered with an inner surrounding wall 45A of the enlarged-diameter cavity 45; and an annular projection part 36 protrusively provided on the outer peripheral surface of the rubber stopper main body 31. The female housing 40 has a pressing rib 50 protrusively provided on the inner surrounding wall 45A of the enlarged-diameter cavity 45, and that enhances an elastic repulsive force at a part where the annular projection part 36 is arranged, on the rubber stopper main body 31 by pressing the annular projection part 36. |
