PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual pulse generation device which is capable of detecting the rotation and rotation direction of a rotating body with high sensitivity to appropriately output a pulse.SOLUTION: In a sensor unit 10 of the manual pulse generation device, rotation of a rotating body 6 is detected by a sensor part 8 when the rotating body 6 is manually rotated, and a pulse is generated on the basis of the detection result. The sensor part 8 has a permanent magnet 65 rotating in accordance with the rotating body 6, and the rotation of the permanent magnet 65 is detected by a magnetoresistive element 57 held by a support 200. The rear side of the sensor part 8 is magnetically shielded by a sensor case 52 made of magnetic material. Contrarily, a sensor cover 51 on an operation surface side L2 of the sensor part 8 is made of resin. |
