摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thickness adjustment device for a plate glass that easily adjusts variation in thickness of a plate glass caused by deformation of a roll, and a method of manufacturing a plate glass.SOLUTION: A thickness adjustment device 11 for a plate glass G includes: a control part 14 which controls operations of a first roll 12 and a second roll 13; and a rotary drive part 15 which drives and rotates the first roll 12 and second roll 13 independently. The thickness adjustment device 11 for the plate glass includes: a first plane sensor SA which detects a first position that a first plane GA of the plate glass G passes; and a second plane sensor SB which detects a second position that a second plane GB on the opposite side from the first plane GA passes. The control part 14 includes a displacement control part which performs displacement control over the rotary drive part 15 so as to displace a relative position between a circumferential position of the first roll 12 and a circumferential position of the second roll 13 on the basis of detection values of the first plane sensor SA and second plane sensor SB.
