PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle transmission including a transmission mechanism and a gear mechanism constituted by engaging gears in parallel, capable of shortening the body constitution axially.SOLUTION: Since a spline-fitted portion 64 of a first driven gear 54 provided on an intermediate shaft 52 is axially offset toward an engine, a space is formed in an inner circumferential side of an engaged portion 59 with the first driven gear 25, and a dog clutch 58 is contained in this space. Since a second driven gear 40 provided on an output shaft 20 is axially offset toward the engine in a spline fitted portion 66 of the second driven gear 40, the output shaft 20 is shorter by as much as the offset. Furthermore, since a shaft insertion portion 53 of a first drive gear 25 provided on an input shaft 16 is axially offset toward a continuously variable transmission 22, an axial length of the entire transmission can be shortened by adjusting pulley positions of the continuously variable transmission 22 to correspond to the output shaft 20 whose axial length is shortened. |
