PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector whose assembling work is easy, whose rear holder is hard to remove from a housing, and does not block height reduction of the whole connector.SOLUTION: An electric connector 100 includes: a housing 30 where a plurality of terminal holding grooves 31 for inserting terminal fittings are formed into a parallel shape; a rear holder 33 which is provided for the housing 30 via a hinge part 32 and is engageable with terminal fittings inserted in the terminal holding grooves 31; first engaging means 34(recesses 35, protrusions 36) which are provided on both end sides in a parallel direction of the terminal holding grooves 31 so as to join the rear holder 33 and the housing 30 when superimposed on the housing 30 by rotating the rear holder 33 around the hinge part 32; and second engaging means 37(recesses 38, protrusions 39) which are provided between the adjacent terminal holding grooves 31, 31 in a central part in a width direction W in the housing 30 so as to block separation of the rear holder 33 and the housing 30 in the joined state. |
