PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of preventing the completion of freezing of a food product.SOLUTION: There are included: a storage room for storing a cooled object; cooling means 1007; and control means 1009. The control means 1009 has a first step and a second step, and controls the cooling means 1007 so as to start the second step together with the finish of the first step. In the first step, a preset temperature in the storage room is set to a low temperature preset temperature &thetas;L lower than a freezing point of the cooled object, and in the second step, a preset temperature in the storage room is set to a temperature rise preset temperature &thetas;H higher than a freezing point of the cooled object. The time each of the first step and the second step is determined based on a state where a first heat quantity q1 emitted from the cooled object, and a second heat quantity q2 supplied to the cooled object are balanced under a restriction that a first step time is equal to or less than an allowable freezing time as a time when the cooled object becomes from a non-frozen state to a frozen state. |
