PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio terminal capable of suppressing connection to an unstable communicable base station and connecting with an optimum base station.SOLUTION: A radio terminal 10 comprises: a radio base station storage unit 15 for storing, when normally finishing a radio origination with a radio base station, a zone area and base station number of the radio base station; and a radio base station selection unit 13 for selecting, when newly performing radio origination, a radio base station which is stored in the radio base station storage unit 15 and with which the immediately previous radio origination has been normally finished. The radio base station storage unit 15 includes means for storing, when abnormally finishing a radio origination with a radio base station, a zone area of the radio base station as a connection suppression zone. The radio base station selection unit 13 includes means for cancelling, when the radio base station storage unit 15 stores zone areas of all base stations around the radio terminal 10 as connection suppression zones, memories on all connection suppression zones in the radio base station storage unit 15 before newly selecting a communicable base station having predetermined electric field intensity. |
