PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which saves space of an image acquisition device that acquires a multilayer image of a subject.SOLUTION: An image acquisition device has: an imaging optical system 102 which collects light flux from a subject 101; optical path splitting means 103 which splits the light flux from the imaging optical system into a plurality of light flux; a plurality of imaging elements 104A, 104B, 104C which receive the respective plurality of light flux; and moving means 108 which moves the optical path splitting means. The moving means moves the optical path splitting means, so that it changes a distance in an optical axis direction of the imaging optical system between a plurality of reference planes that are optically conjugate to the plurality of imaging elements. |
