PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine system which includes two rotary electric machines and a power converter and further includes a cooling structure capable of achieving high cooling performance to the rotary electric machines and the power converter.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine system includes a first rotary electric machine 2, a second rotary electric machine 3, a power converter 4, an inner fan 14, a heat exchanger 21, and a rotary shaft 13. The first rotary electric machine 2 includes a stator 5 and a rotor 6 and the second rotary electric machine 3 includes a stator 7 and a rotor 8. The first rotary electric machine 2 and the second rotary electric machine 3 are connected with the rotary shaft 13. An outer diameter of the second rotary electric machine 3 is smaller than an outer diameter of the first rotary electric machine 2. The power converter 4 is installed in an inner peripheral side space of the first rotary electric machine 2 while connected with the rotary shaft 13. The inner fan 14 is connected with the rotary shaft 13 and circulates inner air to the second rotary electric machine 3, the power converter 4, and the first rotary electric machine 2. The heat exchanger 21 is installed at the outer peripheral side of the second rotary electric machine 3. Outer air and the inner air circulated by the inner fan 14 flow into the heat exchanger 21, and the heat exchanger 21 conducts heat exchange between the inner air and the outer air to perform cooling. |
