PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi function peripheral 100 capable of reducing the occurrence frequency of packet errors.SOLUTION: When a facsimile transmission job is accepted, an acquisition unit 202 acquires transmission time of the facsimile transmission job and also acquires the number of packet errors in a time zone including the transmission time among preset time zones. A determination unit 203 determines whether or not the acquired number of packet errors exceeds a preset threshold value. A change unit 204 changes the transmission time to a time zone when the number of packet errors is small if the number of packet errors has exceeded the preset threshold value. A transmission unit 205 transmits image data on the facsimile transmission job to a transmission destination of the facsimile transmission job at transmission time after change. |
