PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component mounting system that can simplify the construction of a component supply device, and efficiently perform respective operations of suction, vertical inversion and mounting of a component supplied from the component supply device to a component mounting machine.SOLUTION: A component mounting machine 11 has two rotary heads 41, 42, and each of the rotary heads 41, 42 is configured in the form of an umbrella so that the rotational axis 43, 44 is inclined with respect to the vertical direction by 45°. A die supply device 12 supplies a die 22 with the mounting face of the die 22 placed facing up, and the one rotary head 41 of the component mounting machine 11 suctions a die 22 to each of suction nozzles 45 which is placed facing down every rotation of a predetermined pitch. After the other rotary head 42 makes the tip of a suction nozzle 46 oriented horizontally every rotation of the predetermined pitch confront the die 22 suctioned by the horizontally-oriented suction nozzle 45 of the one rotary head 41, and receives the die 22, the other rotary head 42 mounts the received die 22 on a circuit board 17 while the mounting face of the die 22 is placed facing down. |
