PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thickening processor of a discoid material that can process thickening by generating neither buckling nor strain in a discoid material when the peripheral edge part of the discoid material is to be thickened.SOLUTION: A thickening processor 1 comprises first-third processing stations 11-13 in parallel to process thickening by feeding a discoid material 5 forward to each processing station. The discoid material 5 is clamped and retained by the holding jig 4 of a holding part 3 provided in each processing station. A molding roller 6 provided in each processing station is pressed radially inward on the peripheral edge part 5a of the discoid material 5 squeezed out of the holding jig 4 to thicken the same. At this time, the holding jig 4 of the first-third processing stations 11-13 keeps the outer diameter smaller sequentially stepwise to make a volume which can be processed by thickening in the discoid material 5 get larger sequentially stepwise, so that thickening can be processed by generating neither buckling nor strain in the discoid material 5. |
