PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier and a humidification system which prevent deterioration of a humidification amount, which excel in humidification performance and which are highly reliable.SOLUTION: A humidifier 1 includes a plurality of heating tanks 2A, 2B. In each of the heating tanks 2A, 2B, a heating body 21, a water supply tank 3 and a drain pipe 13 are provided. The heating body 21 heats the water stored in the heating tanks 2A, 2B and generates steam. The water supply tank 3 supplies water so that water levels of the heating tanks 2A, 2B become constant. The drain pipe 13 drains at least one part of the water in which impurity is concentrated due to the generation of steam from the heating tanks 2A, 2B. The humidifier 1, furthermore, includes a drain control unit 7 for controlling a drain valve 4 of the drain pipe 13 so that the drain start timing of the heating tank 2B becomes different from the drain start timing of the heating tank 2A. |
