PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a color filter to absorb residual excitation light without transmitting the residual excitation light because phosphor or quantum dot alone cannot convert all of the excitation light.SOLUTION: A display device comprises: an array substrate that has a color layer; and an opposite substrate. The color layer comprises: a red fluorescent layer that converts blue light into a red color; a green fluorescent layer that converts the blue light into a green color; and a blue fluorescent layer that corrects the blue light. The red fluorescent layer and the green fluorescent layer have phosphor or quantum dot that has two kinds of main wavelengths, respectively, and the blue fluorescent layer has phosphor or quantum dot that has one kind of the main wavelength. |
