PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate durability of a tire with high accuracy.SOLUTION: There is provided a simulation method for evaluating durability of a tire with a computer 1. The simulation method includes: a process S1 of inputting a tire model 10 resulting from modelling a tire 2 with a finite number of elements F(i) to a computer 1; a process S4 of calculating the state of contact of the tire model 10 on the basis of predetermined conditions; a physical quantity calculating process S5 of calculating a physical quantity including a strain amplitude and a Von Mises stress, acting on at least one of the predetermined elements F(i), from the state of contact of the tire model 10; and an evaluation process S6 of evaluating the durability of the element F(i) based on the strain amplitude and the Mises stress. |
