PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water proof sash and a water proof member used therefor capable of preventing water such as rain water from entering from a joint line between a vertical frame and a horizontal frame constituting the sash.SOLUTION: A water proof sash 15 includes: a horizontal frame 2 and a vertical frame 3 each of which is formed in a generally rectangular shape and which are disposed being faced to each other; a wall fixing lateral piece 4 that forms the horizontal frame 2 and is fixed to a building skeleton; a protruding lateral piece 5 which forms the horizontal frame 2 and continuously extends from the wall fixing lateral piece 4 in a direction perpendicular thereto; a protruding vertical piece 6 which forms the vertical frame 3 and is joined to a side end face of the protruding lateral piece 5; a joint line which is exposed to the outside at the joint portion between the horizontal frame 2 and the vertical frame 3; and a water proof member 16 covering the joint line. |
