PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brace for a temporary structure that further enhances the strength of temporary structures.SOLUTION: A brace 4 of the present invention is spanned between a horizontal member 3 installed horizontally between two adjacent columns 1, and a column 1 of the two columns 1, diagonally with upper and lower tilt angles. One of the two ends of the brace is connected rotatably in the vertical direction to the horizontal member 3, with a pin 8 extending in the horizontal direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the horizontal member 3, and the other end is connected to the column 1 of the two columns 1 with connecting means. An angular change prevention member 13 is installed on an end of a brace body 15 on the same side with the one of the two ends of the brace, the angular change prevention member having a facing part 32 that faces the horizontal member 3 from above or below and blocking changes of angles &thetas;1, &thetas;2 between the horizontal member 3 and the brace body 15 around the pin 8, by having the facing part 32 come in contact with the horizontal member 3. |
