PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for a configuration in which integration of circuit is taken into account, without deteriorating the waveform equalization operation of a decision feedback equalizer.SOLUTION: Delay elements 11, 12, 22 are arranged asymmetrically in a signal processing path of each FF side weighting device 2(1)-2(5) and an update route of tap coefficient so that the interval for updating the tap coefficient of the weighting device 2(1), where the absolute value of tap coefficient increases relatively when optimizing the waveform equalization operation of a reception signal, out of the FF side weighting devices 2(1)-2(3) and the FB side weighting devices 2(4), 2(5), becomes shorter than the interval for updating the tap coefficient of other weighting devices 2(2)- 2(5). |
